Happy EIGHT Years to us!

Today Joey and I have been blissful married for 8 years! SO crazy how time flies. I would never have guessed that I would be living in Moses Lake and actually like it, have 4 kids, and be blessed with a wonderful family plus great friends! I've seen this on some other blogs and thought it was neat! 8 things I love about Joey are: 1. Loves me unconditionally 2. Is my eternal love 3. Blessed me with my beautiful kids 4. Brought me to the gospel 5. Provides for his family 6. Thee best father for my kids 7. Is patient 8. Eager to work and learn Joey is the best husband I could have ever have dreamed of. Although he has his faults as do I. I couldn't have been blessed with a better man! I thank Heavenly Father everyday for the man that he is.

~CRUISE~

We have planned a 7 day cruise to the Sounthern Caribbean. We will visit Puerto Rico, St. Maartens, St. Lucia, Grenada, Aruba, and Bonaire!! We are going with our friends Brett & Jinni Mackay. We leave March 24 and return April 2!! I cannot wait, this is our first vacation since our honeymoon 8 years ago! This is kinda sort of an anniversary gift to each other!
I am nervous to leave the kids that long. They are going to Idaho and stay with my mom and Rosie and Scott & Vicki. I hope that they aren't too sad while we are away from them. I hope I am not too sad while I am away from them!!
Its almost been a year that I have written!-Thats ridiculous. I really need to get better at blogging or keeping a journal. My kids are growing up so fast and I am missing out writing down all the fun things that they do or say! Lets see if I can catch up and do alittle better!
Moses Lake has been great to us. Although being away from family does suck so much. We have been blessed with wonderful friends that has made our move alot easier. Without them Moses Lake would be so hard.
Joey was promoted to Manager of the Moses Lake store and Othello store in July 2011.
Its a lot more responsibility but he has been doing great in his new position.
Kayla is in first grade her teachers name is Mrs. Koziol, Ryker is in pre-school with Mrs. Bruneel, Rydge wishes he was in school, and Kayzha loves playing with all the toys when Ryker and Kayla are at school! As for me, I am enjoying staying at home and being with the kids. I admit sometimes there are those moments of boredom. Mostly during the winter. Summer is lots of fun, we go on bike rides around our neighborhood and ride to our neighborhood park. This summer we need to make more time for the water park here in town. Kids had a blast last summer!

Well so far Moses Lake has been treating us pretty good! The only part I am hating is being away from the family..if only I could figure out a way for them to all move closer!! That would be nice!
THe kids are adjusting okay I guess, I really have nothing to compare them too. They ask to go to their Grandmas houses all the time! We are planning a little trip to Idaho at the end of the month. The kids ask me literally each day how many days until be go (to Idaho)!! I have a feeling that they aren't going to want to come back to Moses Lake.
THe week of the 28th I had to take Rydge and Kayzha into the docotrs office, since we dont have a doctor here yet I had to go to a walk in clinic. I chose to go while Kayla was in school. Thinking that 3 kids to take to the doctors would be easier! Well Rydge is like having 5 kids! After a 2 hour wait, Rydge throwing and hitting the receptionist with his shoes, and throwing his toy cars at other waiting patients in the waiting room. We found out that Rydge had strep throat and a sinus infection and Kayzha had strep and an ear inffection!! How lucky for Me! But at least now they are feeling better! And it was nice that I didnt know anyone at the doctors office..big plus!! I was embararssed!
Kayla is slowly adjusting to her new school and teacher. She misses her teacher and her friends. I feel bad for her and pray that she can make some good friends. She enjoys learning and having somewhere to go. Hopefully she can feel better about her friends here.
Joey and I have moved into a nice ward! He have made acaouple of friends but havent had a chance to go out and do much yet...no babysitter! Which we really miss our mothers for! We have gotten acouple of names of the young women in our ward whic babysit, I am going to have to end up giving one of them a try turns out that one of them lives acouple of houses down from us.
Joey finally put water in the hot tub! The kids and Joey have gotten in it everynight since he's gotten in going! They LOVE it! I'll have to get some pics.
Joey and I will be married for 7 years on Sunday!! Crazy how time flies! Never would have guessed I would be in Washington right now!
Im planning on taking some pics of the kids tomorrow. Hopefully that the weather is good! I will post some if I get to getting some taken!!

First 2 weeks of Washington!!

Well we have been officially in Washington for 2 weeks now!! So far its been okay. I still feel like I am just visiting and will be going home soon. But the problem is, is that I am home! The town of Moses Lake isn't all that big but the lake is beautiful. And since we have a house on the lake we get to enjoy it everyday! There are TONS of geese and ducks and even some swans out there everyd

ay! Joey has been enjoying his job, which is a great plus! Kayla started her new school last Tuesday. She likes it, but says she misses her old teacher Mrs. Greer! I think she will like it better once she makes some friends and gets used to the new teacher, her teachers name is Ms. Covey! Ryker is ready to start preschool but I think I will wait to start him back up until fall. Kayzha has finally decided to WALK!! She has been taking 3-4 steps for the longest time but now she is finally on the go! She is the latest bloomer for walking out of all of my kids!! She looks so cute walking!! Rydge is up to his same ole stuff...that boy is trouble! But he does have a sweet side- Tiff made each one of my kids a collage of pics with them and their cousins, aunts, uncles, grandpa and grandma. He will sit on the couch and just look at it! After awhile he will point at some of the people in it and name them or ask Joey or I who it is! Its too cute! Thanks Tiff!

Our new Ward is huge, everyone seems very nice and friendly! Joey looked so handsome today for church! First time since our wedding that I have seen him in a suit!! He bought a new suit when we went to Wenatchee. I think its a good look for him!
Yesterday we went to Wenatchee, a city thats about an hour from Moses Lake. There's great shopping and site seeing! The drive up there is pretty can't wait to see it in bloom there are lots of orchards on the way.
Funniest thing happend!! My car key remote is retarded and works sometimes even with a new battery. My car remote is a little different the actual key inserts into the remote and you plug the remote into the ignition. Anyways when the remote decides not to work the only way to unlock the door is to take the key out of the remote and unlock the door with the key. Well when this happens the car alarm goes off and you have to hurry and insert the remote into the ignition with or without the key and start the car. So we were leaving Costco and the car remote wasn't working so Joey was cursing the remote because it wasn't unlocking so he hurried and unlocked it with the key and the alarm goes off he jumps in and starts the car so that the alarm will shut off. So we get the kids in the car and groceries and what not. Then we begin to drive off. Well as we are turning exiting Costco this man is practically hanging out his car pointing at us and yelling something but of course we couldn't hear because of the kids singing/ yelling! Anyways we thought he was pointing at us because Joey cut some lady off! Well it turned out that Joey left the keys hanging outside the door!! I died laughing when we finally realized why that guy was pointing and yelling at us! Its one of those things that you just had to had been there!!
Well we are all still adjusting to being here and hopefully with time it will get easier. The hardest thing is when the kids ask when we are going to Grandmas house! They ask for my aunt Rosie alot or when they can go see our sheep at Grandpas house. I tell them soon...hopefully soon comes quick! We are planning a trip to Burley the last week of March. Joey has some meetings in Boise that week! Can't wait!!

You don't realize how much you love someone until they're gone! I know it only has been acouple of days!! But Joeys absence weighs heavy on mine and kids hearts. Sunday we went to church without him and that was a struggle with all the kids- I think I am going to go to church with Scott and Vicki next Sunday! Four little Vails are hard to keep track of on your own, especially my age group! Rydge has been crying at night for his Daddy!! Joey is such a hero in his kids eyes! Joey gave each of the kids a stuffed bear before he left, they pack it around with them everywhere they go!! Its so sweet! I love that he is such a great dad to them!! I couldnt have asked for a better father or husband for my family!!
One thing that will be nice is with Joeys new position is that he won't have to work any Saturdays, which when he was here at the Burley Norco he had to work some Saturdays. So it will be nice to have him home on the weekends! This weekend Joey is planning to drive down to Priest River where his Grandpa and other family live. It will be nice for him to go and visit them! He has been so home sick. The other day he told me that he heard a baby crying in the parking lot and that the baby's cry sounded like music to him!! Well we have plenty of music for him to listen to when he gets home!! I'm hoping that this week will go by faster!!
